All of our ceremonies tell the story you want to tell, your way. They are unique and bespoke ceremonies written to reflect your hopes and dreams for the future. Special readings, poems or pieces of music can be added to your ceremony. The beauty of our naming ceremonies is that they can be held wherever you want them to take place.

Child/Baby Naming Ceremonies are beautiful, non-religious celebrations that welcome a new addition to a family. They’re often seen as an alternative to traditional christenings and can be tailored to reflect your values and culture. These ceremonies can include symbolic acts like tree planting, creating a time capsule, or even signing a naming certificate. They’re suitable for babies, adopted children, stepchildren, or even older kids. We can include promises made to the child by parents and Guide Parents. These can be written by you or I can give you a hand.

A Family Blending Ceremony celebrates two families coming together to create a new family. It symbolises a fresh start for everyone and we can make sure everyone in the family is involved in creating a bespoke and unique ceremony that reflects you all.

A Renaming Ceremony for a transgender person or an adult who has changed their name is a symbolic act of celebrating a new identity. It is a perfect way to celebrate a new identity, often including a chosen name and a public affirmation of a person's new identity. 

Whichever type of ceremony you are looking for, I can promise you a bespoke, personalised event that celebrates your story in the way you want to tell it. 

My fee for a Naming Ceremony is from £250.00. This includes:

Up to 1 hour meeting online with family or person being renamed

Preparation and writing of a bespoke ceremony script

Support with ceremony set up

Ceremony lasting approximately 25 minutes

Naming ceremony with parents, family and/or guide parents or with friends and supporters

Reading and/or poem

A symbolic element

Commemorative naming certificate 

Commemorative copy of the script

NB: This fee is subject to change for a longer ceremony or expectation to travel a distance of over 30 miles.
